this all sounds great. I have been training here in America for three years at a gym thirty miles away. I lost my job and started training at the local in my town due to my financial status. Some of the locals that frequint the gym want me to trian them what I know. I told them that I only have so much knowledge but they keep insisting. Have advice for me? How does one go about getting certified to teach Muay Thai in America? And is a certification always required?

Video requests of accommodations at training camp and the other Thai resorts that have been built near the camp to service our guests will be on video soon along with a new version of our website.
These are great suggestions and Tiger Muay Thai and MMA is always trying to do more to help our guests with info and logistics before arriving. Look for videos soon. We 2 TMT have concentrated on smaller Bungalows and Budget rooms and left the expensive poolside Bungalows to the Thai resorts within walking distance.
You can always contact me with any questions @ info@tigermuaythai.com.

Gabriel,

I'm wondering the same thing and I'm sure many others are as well. I was thinking that it would be cool if Tiger had virtual tours of the accomodations on their website. I'm heading there tomorrow so I'll take some video tours of the rooms myself along with some of the rooms nearby.

I was wondering about the accomodations at tiger. Their website has some pretty pricey joints. About how far away would you say your next options would be? Also if you have any idea if its worth staying at tiger's bunks. Thanks again.

Andarai,

They started at around 5000 baht per month and knocked it down to around 3000. I couldn't get a long term membership because I'm leaving Pattaya in a couple days and their isn't a california wow gym in Phuket.

Andy,

I've been recording some of my padwork sessions. I plan on posting them all together later on so people can see the progressions I've made throughout my time at the different camps. The problem with posting them now is that I still have a lot of camps to review and a lot of camp owners view this site. If they recognize me when I come in to train, they'll likely go out of their way and give me treatment that a regular person who just walks in off the street wouldn't get. I feel that will defeat the purpose of the camp reviews. Check the Sor Vorapin review. If they knew I was reviewing their camp that day, I'm sure I would have been treated differently.

"California WoW gym is perhaps the nicest gym I’ve ever seen but the membership was a little too pricey."

How much was the farang price they quoted you?

It's normally 20,000 baht for a 3 year membership which breaks down to about $16 USD/month. If you show them your long stay visa and tell them that you live there, the price should go down.
