Glad you're showing this guy the ropes, or at least trying to.... I've read so so much about thailand and the bar scene in the past several months that i think my brain is gonna burst. I'm going there soon, armed with the knowledge of the experienced, i don't wanna fall in love and i wanna try to minimize being swindled/ripped off. I've learned so much but i guess the reality is that you never know how you'll react until it happens and some go go dancer has got you wrapped around her finger. At least with all the knowledge from this site and many others i'll be better prepared for the inevitable. I hear being in a completely different place can bring out the worst (or best in you)....
