Thanks for all the information Bill, it's very useful and I'll be heading down to the city to grab a visa in the next few days.
As of right now the 3 month trip is pretty much set in stone because I plan on traveling to Brazil after wards to train in BJJ for 2-3 months. I'm sure I will love Thailand though, you make it sound like a great experience and I probably will want to come back as soon as I get another chance to.
I plan on training at Patong gym because of the price, and the fact that you get a lot of one-on-one attention. It seems like a good place to start especially since you've mentioned in your travels that it more or less your 'home' gym, so I figure it has to be good. I've trained in boxing for a few years and muay thai for about one year, so I'm looking to improve my game and hopefully win a fight or two in Thailand.
Thanks again for all the help, it's much appreciated! I'll be in touch and let you know if I have any other questions as I'm sure you'll be able to answer them without a problem.
